HEFFALUMP - Very strange name for a glass! This
is an eclectic set of 10 beads in various shapes and sizes made
from this beautiful pale violet coloured opaque glass. Lots of different purples and violets will complement this set of beads. Two of the larger beads have been decorated with
silvered ivory and fine silver wire (which when heated, makes a little
trail of silver dots over the surface of the bead), two larger spacers
have trails of fine silver wire wound around the surface. Also included are six
smaller spacer beads. Also
included are Czech beads & rondelles & some Miyuki seed beads for a little colour inspiration. All beads have been left shiny but I can etch these beads for no extra charge if that is what you
prefer.
NB:- Under flourescent lights, these beads appear more mauve or lavender than shown in the picture, so they are sort of a colour change glass. Please refer to second picture for colour differences.
- Barrel bead
measures 25mm hole to hole x 12mm thick
. The largest rondelle measures 9mm hole to hole x 13mm in
diameter. The two smaller rondelles decorated with dots of silver measure 8mm hole to hole x
12mm in diameter. Holes are 2.4mm.
- Two larger plain spacers measure 12mm in diameter x 8mm hole to hole. Four smaller plain spacers measure 10mm in diameter x 6mm hole to hole. Holes are 2.4mm
- Prices are in Australian dollars.
- I
endeavour to make the colour of these beads the same on my monitor as
they are in real life however there may be slight colour variations in
the beads due to the differences in computer monitors.
